⚠️ Violation of these terms may result in immediate license termination and legal action under applicable Indian and international copyright law.
4. 🔧 Modification Rights
You are permitted to:
- Edit, trim, loop or layer sounds for your project
- Adjust pitch, speed, volume or apply audio effects
- Combine with other audio, music or sound effects
- Sync with video, animation or other media
However, modified sounds cannot be redistributed as standalone audio files or presented as original recordings.

Our sounds are fully cleared for use on all major platforms including:
- YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat
- Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ (for independent creators)
- Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud (as part of original music)
- Twitch, kick.com and live streaming platforms
We do not register our sounds with any Content ID system. You will not receive any copyright strikes from us on YouTube or any other platform.

6. ⚖️ DMCA & Copyright Infringement
If you believe any content on Soundopedia infringes your copyright, please contact us immediately at maddy@soundopedia.com with the following information:

- The URL of the allegedly infringing content on our site
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized
- Your electronic or physical signature
We will respond to valid DMCA notices within 72 hours and take appropriate action.
7. 🔒 License Termination
Your license to use our sounds is automatically terminated if you:
- Violate any terms listed in this Copyright & License page
- Use our sounds in any prohibited manner
- Attempt to claim ownership of our recordings
Upon termination, you must immediately stop using our sounds and delete all copies from your devices and projects.
8. 🌍 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This license and all related disputes shall be governed by the laws of India, specifically under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Any legal disputes arising from the use of Soundopedia sounds shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
